Public Alerts are emergency alerts including tornado advisories, earthquake information, flash flood warnings, and more. You can get Public Alerts before disasters arrive via Google Maps, Google Now, or by searching, and if you're in the area they'll alert you automatically so that you can get out of harm's way. They are currently available in the US, Canada, Taiwan and Japan.
